Another ideas would I will put forward. The unknown cloaked structures could possibly be the source of the drifter battleships. If they are an earlier Jovian design, the occupants may have been cryogenic suspension due to the progressive of the disease . This could have occurred during the first or second empires hence the difference in ships. |

I've been going through the lore and the sightings in Thera. I personally think the cause of the wormhole appearances and recent explosion may be caused by he soe. I also would put forward that the talcon are not extinct after all they are a species which is always moving on. The recent detonation of a star near Jove space most likely caused the cloaking fields to fail or some uplink data stream for command. There is still another faction from the first empire other than the jovians and sleepers missing from current events, one rumoured to spy and control from behind the scenes the Enheduanni.
I can't explain away the difference in design from the eidolon and the new drifter ships. One the weapons in the drifter vessels are different from previous Jovian weapons and appear more advanced, however the ships design is radically different to all current Jovian design philosophy's. So I would lead on to that thought with multiple factions of jovians either post collapse since the nova near Jove space, and older cryogenicicslly suspended faction from an earlier time or the ships may be the product of Jovian talcon and sleeper technology. This idea stems from the name drifter battleship something contract to current naming of Jovian ships. But more keeping with talcon ideology of being nomadic travellers. Also note the drifter battleship was sifted near what appeared to be a wormhole under construction.
On a final note the new logo on now.eve features three vertical lines united within and inner emblem possibly signifying an alliance or reunification of separate groups.
Any further ideas or speculation welcome |

Jovians have always worn black suits and some have had cybernetic I plants on display, many capsules still do. Jovian appearance has always been strange and the eyes in particular Erie and dark |

Perhaps they sleepers have arrived in search of the other and the others like it? They are after all scanning every structure and ships. Perhaps they are seeking out hosts or objects linked to the other entities and first entity. And finally the one image in the distance resembles an eidolon model from previous years. |

Jovians, post-incarna. They're described like this in Theodicy and Templar One, and this image appears in EVE Source They look near-identical to the drifters and even have the same outfit- the only difference is the cybernetic implants, which leads me to believe that they are indeed awakened Architect infomorphs
I agree, once I saw them bringing in a sleeper vessel from a small wormhole which two formed I reached the same conclusion. They were the same race after all and had the same augmentations and modifications to allow an additional implant. |

Unlikely most likely the perma death will come with a form of trial account with caps or a non capsule based pilot. Sleepers/Jovians all have the same upload tech. |

Intersting, I wonder why they are harvesting the materials. We know of the connection between sleepers and the jovians. The observatorys must contain data or technology which the sleepers can not fully engineer currently. |
